Being happy, being genuine, being yourself, are three of the most amazing traits an individual could have. Being rude, close-minded, dishonest, are three of the traits that people don't usually desire to have.
To be happy, you have to smile, laugh, and enjoy life. You have to love yourself for who you are and surround yourself with people who are supportive and there for you. Aim to surround yourself with people who bring you joy, who motivate you to accomplish your goals, or people who complement you for the most nonsensical things you do. Find people who are honest to heart, who are constantly motivated to do things out of the ordinary for you or for themselves. Everyone has those days where, yes, of course, your not going to feel your best. It may be hard sometimes, and I know from experience that these days don't compare to how many good days that are still to come. When you have those days, remember to take maybe just 30 seconds out of your day to smile, express yourself, and remind yourself that you are something in this world. When you are heart to heart with yourself, not just with other people, you can truly feel that you are happy.
To be Genuine:
Be authentic,
Be passionate,
Be sincere.
Lastly, to be yourself, be comfortable with yourself and who you are. Being able to laugh around people who laugh with you and don't judge you for who you are makes you want to be yourself. Radiate positivity, not negativity. Seek out people who understand you. The journey is more enjoyable when you're comfortable with them.

Quinoa Porridge
Who has the same issue: too many leftovers and not knowing what to do with them. That's pretty much me at the end of every week. Whether it be a stir fry or quinoa, I always have an awkward amount left of it.
While i was making breakfast this morning, I was leaning towards having a big bowl of oats, but what do you know, i didn't have any left! Then I decided to make banana ice cream, but I was stuck with only half a frozen banana, so that wasn't going to work. Soon enough, I moved onto the fridge, right there in front of me stood the ingredients to exactly what I was going to make.I was a big creamy, sweet, and comforting bowl of quinoa. This was by far the best breakfast I have ever eaten! Now this is the end to the story of how I came up with making amazing quinoa porridge or breakfast.
You will need:
1/2 a frozen banana (you can use 1/2 a fresh mashed banana)
3/4 cup leftover cooked quinoa
1 tsp of maple syrup
3/4 cup of almond milk (I use unsweetened vanilla)
1/4 cup water
Dash of cinnamon
Pour the almond milk and water into a sauce pan along with the quinoa. On medium-high heat bring it to a boil and then put the lid on and bring it to a low-medium heat. Allow the quinoa to cook for 10-15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed. Then, add the banana, maple syrup, and cinnamon and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Serve into a bowl and top with fresh fruit, more cinnamon, granola, nut butter, honestly whatever you enjoy!
