Sweet Potato Fries

It's rainy outside today and I had so much time on my hands. Rainy days make me think about so many things and notice all the little things. One thing I noticed was that I had 2 switches in my room to turn on the lights, why did I never find that out before?! Well these sweet potato fries are the best fries I have ever eaten, especially because of the tahini sauce. The sauce really complements the whole dish and made it come together so nicely.

So after thinking about other things I decided to create another recipe for the blog so here it is!

Ingredients for fries:
1-2 sweet potatoes
Garlic salt
Pepper
Cayenne pepper
Dried basil
Coconut oil

Ingredients for tahini sauce:
1 tsp of tahini
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of water

Process:
Preheat oven to 400F
Cut the sweet potatoes into long wedges, make sure it's thick enough because it shrinks in the oven. Coat the potatoes with all the spices and coconut oil. Bake for 25-40 minutes. Flip halfway through to make sure it doesn't burn.

For the sauce mix all the ingredients together, you might need more or less water depending on how you want the consistency to be like

Take the sweet potato fries out of the oven and enjoy!

    1. I had a hard time cutting it too! Something I would suggest doing is to microwave the sweet potato in the microwave with water for about 30 seconds to soften it up, use a sharp knife, and cut the ends off first
